It's no trick - The Kilties field show will be a treat for audiences in 2012!
This year's show, "Trick and Treat" is built around four productions that have different hauntingly surreal auras about them. The powerful opener is a dark, driving, very unique arrangement of Toccata and Fugue which has been titled "Treat me well the first time, or I'll be Bach!" The second number will be a stand-alone percussion feature with a wicked jazz feel and is fittingly named "The Witch." "Land of Make Believe" is a bright, hopeful groove tune that shows that even dark spirits gotta lighten up and party sometimes. The closing production, "Spending the Night with the Troll King on Bald Mountain," is a combination of "Night on Bald Mountain" and "Hall of the Mountain King" and is an extremely jazzy interpretation of the two classical masterpieces.
