The Kilties announce a new Direction

Despite assembling an enthusiastic and talented staff for the 2018 and 2019 seasons, the Kilties Drum & Bugle Corps were unsuccessful in fielding a corps due to a lack of membership.  At that time, the Kilties Board of Directors made the difficult decision to only focus on Mad Plaid Brass, and grow our presence in the community by providing support to various performing arts based organizations.  Since then, the Kilties have provided sponsorship in various ways for such organizations as:

• Mad Plaid Brass – Kilties community band based in Racine
  
  
• Lighthouse Brigade (a competitive junior Band from Racine) - monetary donations to assist in new uniform efforts
  
  
• Fond du Lac winter guard (a competitive Junior Color Guard based in Fond du Lac Wisconsin) - monetary donations since 2010 to assist with equipment, uniforms, and Insurance Coverage
  
  
• Montage winter guard (a competitive Junior Color Guard from Milwaukee) – monetary donation to be used in the 2019/2020 Competitive Season
  
  
• UW Parkside Drumline – loan of drum equipment
  
  
• Belle City Brassworks – ad donation in 2019 winter program
  
  
• Oak Creek HS Band – donation of various Front Line and keyboard equipment
  
  
• Oak Creek Art Center – donation of keyboard equipment
  
  
• Waukesha West HS – donation of needed equipment
  
  
• Racine Horlick HS – donation of needed equipment

Help the Kilties support performing arts based organizations and attend 2022 Great Lakes Brew Fest September 10th 2022, at Celebration Place, on Kenosha’s lake front.
